The difference between an ordinary snaffle and a bomber french snaffle?

What is the difference between an ordinary french snaffle loose ring and a bomber french snaffle - loose ring. The horse needs to be a bit more sensitive in her mouth, not that her mouth is hard just not responsive at times

A French link loose ring is different to our Bomber Control loose ring in that the French link plate sits with the sharp edge on the horse’s tongue.
The Bomber Control is set at 45° so that the plate sits flat on the tongue. This is obviously less sharp.
The Bomber control applies even tongue pressure over a greater surface area which is kinder and tends to bring the head down.
The mouth pieces are curved to reduce the pinching of the tongue and the sweet iron encourages salivation.
