Bit for strong horse

I have a jumper that I loose control halfway through the course and hard time turning after like jump 7-8. Gets super over flexed and curls his neck and just gets away from me. I have tried multiple bits and works well at him but when I get to show nothing is enough. Flings his head as well reall liked him in the hackamore but again not enough.

Hi Kallie,

Thank you for your question.

Could you tell me some of the bits you have tried? Curling behind the bit is a sign that the horse is finding the pressure to be too much and is trying to escape the pressure.

Know what bits you have tried will tell me exactly what pressure he is objecting to, I can then make a recommendation that will more the pressure to an area that he will find more comfortable.
