NOSE UP AND OUT

HI I HAVE A TB MARE, she is being ridden in a loose ring snaffle with a lozenge, when doing flat work she sticks her nose up and out, She not strong

Hi Nia,

Generally sticking the nose up and out in response to tongue pressure (your lozenge will create tongue pressure) is the horse trying to escape that pressure.

Have you tried a tongue relief bit with her? A Loose Ring Ultra Comfy Lock Up would be a good bit to try on her.
