Bit piece for a DC morgan

I’m tossing up between a happy tongue or a bomber blue. Which is stronger?
My warmblood Arab is ok at home but at SJ comps he is very strong pulls through my hands and gets behind the bit. It’s getting ugly!!
Thank you for your help. Aylsa

Hi Aylsa,

The Bomber Blue is a touch stronger than the Happy Tongue. Taking pressure off the tongue often allows the horse to then take the bit forward, giving the rider more control. If you are using a bit that creates tongue pressure, or one that creates a lot of squeezing action on the bars, then the Happy Tongue would be a good choice.
